The product also includes information on the history of hypertext, a demonstration package, plus hardware and software information of interest to those people wishing to use CBL. A centrally supported CHEST deal has been negotiated for Guide and your local Computer entre can advise if your Institution has a Guide Site License. The target audience is those who wish to produce CBL material using "Guide", and staff (eg IT Trainers) who may be asked to offer support to hypertext authors. It was written with the user who has no knowledge of the subject area very much in mind. The subject is taught by actively involving the user with the "Guide" program throughout the tutorial.Users are asked to construct a simple hypertext package using text and graphics provided by the Tutorial The tutorial sessions are : 1 Using the Tutorial 6 Linking Information 2 Getting Started 7 Importing Graphics 3 Creating Documents 8 Working with Graphics 4 Importing Text 9 Using Frames 5 Using Colour 10 Program Control There is also a substantial section on the "Logiix" language.
