This is a very nice summary page on NGT. I realise I've been using this method to a great extent without knowing it's name.

I have an addtional hint. If the group contains status differences always ask for feedback 'low to high'. (I'm told Admiral Nelson did this--so I call the Nelson Principle.) If a high status person says X early on, a lower status person may suppress their answer if it is differnet, but the reverses does not hold true. low to high gives the biggest range of answers.
