Nora Mogey

Nora Mogey studied mathematics and statistics at Edinburgh University and then trained as a teacher of maths and computing, qualifying in 1984. She taught maths, computing and outdoor education for six years before studying for an MSc in industrial mathematics at Strathclyde.

Subsequently she joined The Queen's College, Glasgow, now part of Glasgow Caledonian University, working mainly with the Occupational Therapy division, investigating specialist peripheral devices and therapeutic uses of computers.

Nora joined LTDI in August 1994 as an implementation support consultant in the subject area of mathematics and statistics, and in August 1995 asumed the role of LTDI development officer.

Nora has an unshakable belief that numbers are exciting and will try to convince sceptical friends or colleagues that this is the case without any provocation.
