Balancing IT picture

Themes for the day:

  • diversifying assessment through the use of technology;
  • practicalities of coping with large student numbers;
  • resource implications of using learning technology;
  • increasing the effectiveness of assessment;
  • quality of assessment.

The Workshop Aims:

  • To encourage lecturers to use a balance of assessment methods within courses
  • To demonstrate a range of different ways in which technology can be used to support assessment
  • To stimulate discussion on the implications of using technology in assessment
