The Galapagos Islands where formed by volcanoes under the sea. The plants and animals got there from there neighbouring country which is south america. the animals may have swam there or flown manly the birds and the plants may have got there by the wind blowing there seeds on to the island. After years of change and adaption to there suroundings the animals and plants have become what they are today.
