AbstractOn behalf of the Scottish Office Education and Industry Department, St. Andrew's College is evaluating the Appple Classroom of Tomorrow (ACOT) project running at St. Andrew's School in Fife. This is one of only three schools in Europe, partly funded by Apple with additional support from local sources, to promote the US ACOT philosophy furth of the USA. This presentation examines the issues surrounding the importation of this American project to Scotland, describes the evaluation of the project in Scotland as a process for the development in school staff of understandings and activities in the use of IT for teaching and learning, and outlines preliminary findings. |
