MATTER Resources from ReSET Project
A collection of 7 Learning objects derived from MATTER Materials Interactive CD Rom in the areas of Crystallography. These learning objects were created by the ReSET Project.

Please note that the ReSET project ended in 2006. Sadly both the original project website and the repository hosting the materials were hosted elsewhere and no longer exist.

• An introduction to crystallography : 1 Crystals
  A basic introduction to crystals (Learning object 1/6).
• An introduction to crystallography : 2 Reflection symmetry
  Basic lines of symmetry within crystals, with simple animation and interactive quiz to test knowledge (Learning object 2/6).
• An introduction to crystallography : 3 Rotation symmetry
  Describes rotation axis of symmetry and symmetry elements . Includes animations and interactive drag and drop tutorial (Learning object 3/6).
• An introduction to crystallography : 4 The 10 plane point group
  Translational symmetry and lattices and crystals with animations and interactive tutorials (learning object 4/6).

  Describes unit cells and 5 plane lattices using animations and interactive tutorials (learning object 5/6).
